9 Carat Gold Hallmark
The hallmark for 9 carat gold is 375

This hallmark indicates that the gold has been tested by an accredited Assay Office.
The gold once tested will be stamped with a hallmark by the Assay Office.
If your Gold is stamped with 375 this means that it is 9ct gold and was established to contain at least 37.5% of fine gold.
This is the minimum percentage of gold required for 9 carat hallmark.

The remainder of the materials used in 9ct gold are alloys. 9 carat gold is harder than gold of a higher carat due to these alloys.
Here are some examples of 9 carat or 375 hallmark stamps.
There are different types of 9 carat gold including White Gold and Rose Gold. All these types of Gold have the same value, the only difference with other coloured gold is the alloys used in manfacturing.
